There’s plenty of “East Village energy” to be had at this “Soviet”-themed gay bar, populated by “skinny, unshaven” party members flaunting “anti-workout bodies”; some say it’s “not particularly friendly”, but admit it’s usually “packed” thanks to the “cute bartenders”, “good music” and “go-go boys in the middle of it all.”
The crowd and the scene tends to be hit or miss; some nights it's a wild and crazy party populated by eye candy, other nights it's dead.
Every night until 10pm, score two-for-one beers and well drinks, as well as $2 cosmos, margaritas and kamikazes.
The owners are often manning the bar, so be nice and maybe they'll buy you a round.
