I went to see Dr. Shrum because of the convenient location. I went in for an exam as I had a small lump in my eye which I thought was a chalazion (clogged gland). Dr. Shrum examined me for about 5 seconds, then injected me with anesthetics and after he saw a least 3 other patients, came back for the procedure. I had to ask all of the questions, he very explained little unless prompted. He performed the procedure and about 2 days later I noticed a hard small lump and so I came back. He examined me for a few seconds and then said that he was going to refer me to another specialist, wait...

Dr. Shrum is an exceptional doctor. He is caring and professional. His staff is courteous, and you never have to wait longer than a few minutes to be seen for your appointment, unlike most other medical offices. I highly recommend him.
