Fresh seafood flown in daily from all over the world is on offer at Eagan's, and the raw bar is probably the best in the city, so it's no surprise that the place gets packed nearly every single night. Starters include sushi and various chilled shellfish platters, all impeccably fresh. Entrees include seared ahi, foie gras with scallops, Maine lobster, and a couple of terrestrial offerings such... more

In Short Located at the northern edge of the downtown business pod, Eagan's remains a power hideaway for talking big business: big banking, big deals, big money. Ranged alongside the suits are the City Hallers and the Courthouse crowd, whose conversations range from zoning restrictions to indictments. Eagan's is one of the best listening posts in town, where those who want to be in... more

Eagan’s claim to fame is its raw bar, featuring a wide variety of sushi offerings and shellfish as well as crab cakes with wasabi caviar and crab legs. Entrées include salmon, swordfish, seafood sauté with penne pasta and lobster. If you don’t order seafood, you won’t leave Eagan’s hungry. Try the garlic roast chicken with pan sauce and mashed potatoes or the braised beer steak. For... more

Musical theatre can only be topped with a desert at Eagan's on Water eaten al fresco. The nightlife on Water St. is sparkling and Eagan's is like champagne.

Large restaurant, spacious, enjoyed the atmosphere. Parking wasn't too bad, but it can be hard to find a spot. Romantic and elegant. Went here after the symphony. Service was great, along with the drinks. Ordered a fish sandwich, very filling, but great. Since we went almost 9 months ago, I can't remember what exactly we ordered, but it was very tasty.

Pros

+ Excellent seafood

Cons

- parking
