A dedicated doctor who made a difference

Average Rating

We stopped at the Kr. Kate Museum in Woodruff, WI. It is a very short drive from Minocqua and worth a stop. The good works that this doctor did for the area are documented and other period related displays here were interesting to see. No fee, but donations to maintain the museum are appreciated.

Very informative and interesting history of Dr. Kate and her importance in local history and her appearance on This Is Your Life with Ralph Edwards. Well worth your time.

The have a 30 minute film of when she appeared on "This is your Life" in 1954. Very interesting and worth...

Worth a million pennies

The Dr Kate museum is worth a stop on your way up north. Our tour guide, Cathy, was a child during the million penny parade so she had great stories for us. The museum was small so it won't take too much time. You'll enjoy it!
