I have a fear of dentists and had put off going to to see one for years when I moved from out of state. When I made my appointment with the office, the staff and Dr. Spaulding were welcoming and understanding and made me feel extremely comfortable. As for Missy to be your hygenist. She is awesome and knowledgable about what she does.

Please do not be fooled by the oh-so-chic waiting area and friendliness with which you will be greeted with at Dr. Spaulding's office. Myself and 2 other friends who USED to see Dr. Spaulding have experienced numerous issues with billing and her pushing of unnecessary services. Paid my bill IN FULL over a year ago and got a bill fro $300.00 that the office staff ""can't really explain"". I was shocked that the 2 people I know who saw her experienced the very same thing! Maybe a good dentists, but horrible business practices that caused quite a head ache and are still not resolved since...

I've been to see her several times and every time is a mess--from billing issues to appointment scheduling to the quality of the dental work. I will never go back. I kept thinking it would get better but it hasn't. Every visit is a disappointment and this experience has been consistent with both me and my wife.

I will admit, when I first walked in, I was a little concerned. I had recently tried a 'corporate' sort of dentist office where I was overcharged and up-sold for services that I didn't need. Dr. Spaulding's office looked almost too nice. I was worried that the zen rocks, waterfall, and modern furniture would be reflected on my bill, and all I wanted was a straightforward cleaning and check up. Luckily, I was totally wrong.
