I'm befuddled to see Dr. Kaplan's hig rating. Maybe he is just past his prime and tired. I began seeing him on advice of a friend but from the get-go I found him to be disinterested, patronizing and outright rude. He never took the time to get to know me or discuss my disease. My husband saw Dr. Kaplan in 2004 with stomach cancer. We were really lucky to get in, because this doctor is in high demand. His bedside manner was enormously comforting and the treatment for this particularly nasty form of cancer has been successful. 1982 again in 2007. He's always available 24/7. He won't let you leave his office until all your questions are answered and you understand his answers. He's the best. I won't trust anybody else.
