Dr. Elli was trained in a fellowship in Robotics and Bariatric Surgery at the Minimally Invasive Surgery Center at University of Illinois at Chicago. He completed his general surgery residency at the Department of Surgery at UIC.
He graduated from the University of Buenos Aires, later he served as Coordinator of Bariatric Surgery at the University of Buenos Aires Teaching Hospital. He performs bariatric surgery offering minimally invasive lap-band, Gastric Bypass and Sleeve Gastrectomies and Single Incision Laparoscopic Surgery (SILS).

DR Elli and dayone center has changed my life in the most positive and beautiful way. Once I weighed in at 453lbs. In May of 2014 I weighed 370 lbs at day one on the 12th of May I had adjustable lap band surgery and today I weighed in at 274. I am a new person who does Zumba classes 4 days a week and went from a size 60 waist to 44 waist.
