Pushed and prescribed an antipsychotic medication to an 11 year old experiencing no psychotic symptoms, but symptoms of moderate depression. Child felt worse on the medication and her self esteem was further reduced when she gained 25 pounds due to the medication. Dr. Gursky did not appear concerned when this happened or that the child was getting little relief from the depression symptoms.
