Help us make it rightDowning Street in Houston is the place for wine lovers. The pub seems to have a never-ending stock of whiskey, scotch and wines from around the world. Also famous is the food which comprises of smoked salmon, cheese, sandwiches and soups. The place is a retreat for both smokers with its selection of hand-rolled cigars and its walk-in 400 square foot humidor.
The Scene

The one reason to go is gone. I can't stand owners who take a good thing and trash it. Don't bother with this place any longer.There are many more places that are much more reasonably priced for scotch and bourbon. Take a pass all.
What's the point now?They're just another Houston bar that used to be something unique & better.Their submissive decision will lead to a day spa there soon.
