Dougboys has generous portions of hearty food. Like the name suggests, the menu is themed with a combination of bread and military things (mostly in the name of the items.) Muffins, corn bread, pancakes, biscotti, etc. are gigantic, tasty and cheap. During the weekdays, Dougboys is quiet but on weekends, it is a brunch HQ. It's definitely a place for a relaxed breakfast.
Order a breakfast here, take home the leftovers and have enough to eat for the rest of the day. Lots of hearty breakfast dishes including scrapple, hash, S.O.S., and a variety of fancy pancakes and french toast. The bakery offers a several kinds of breads, bagels, scones and muffins.

They temporarily closed for vermin infestation but it's so good we're giving them a second chance to make a first impression. Breakfast served all day. Bakery items to die for. Whale of a menu—gourmet chicken, pizza, goat cheese, and sun-dried tomato on baguettes. Popular lunch of killer spinach salad. Considering all the turmoil that the restaurant went through (according to the owner, yes, but it sounds fairly legit, albeit a little dramatic, and has been confirmed by former employees) I would venture to...

NOW ON HIGHLAND - Besides the dry meat, hard bread, flavorless soup and horrible service I was attacked by hundreds of black flies!! If your hungry try roadkill, it's probably better since I would not have to wait an hour for a waiter to bring it to me.

Bad food, bad, service, bad experience overall. I used to think this place was good when it was in the old location. I think the staff must hate the owner, and it shows. This place was dirty and out of almost everything on the menu. What was left over, was flavorless and stale. I will never return. Too bad because it used to be a pretty cool place to eat.
