Of the three modern high-rise hotels in downtown Nashville, this is one of the best choices if you're here on vacation. It has a less hectic atmosphere than the Sheraton or the Renaissance, and extensive renovations completed in 2002 have given the Doubletree a very contemporary look. I stayed at the Doubletree on 4th Street in Nahsville for two nights. I love Nashville and often go for pleasure. The rooms were nice, clean and comfortable. However, the staff didn't know where things were when i asked and the bellperson was rude.
