It's your standard Doubletree. You know it's not the Ritz, but that you'll have a clean, comfortable, spacious room. The fitness room at this particular Doubletree is adequate but crowded. And there are very few restaurant options near the hotel. But we have to admit, we really like the Doubltree because of the fresh-from-the-oven cookies. Next time can we have some milk, too?
My family and I had been guest of this hotel when it was the Doubletree. We loved it. However,just a mere three years later,it leaves a lot to be desired. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. But the pillows were too old and soft. The fan in the shower did not work, and the room decor was outdated. Very nice setting, comfortable bed, and clean. Found it odd that a hotel of this caliber did not have free internet service. The hot water was unavailable for our morning shower. The staff was apologetic and took off our breakfast from the bill. Overall, a good experience. I would likely stay there again.
