While you should expect to spend a few more of your ducats than a trip to Village Inn at the Double Eagle Restaurant & Bar, it is WELL WORTH IT! The seafood is second to none and the aged steaks are so tender and well-prepared that my mouth is watering just thinking about it! And you will LOVE the decor and trim they put into each room.
We came for the brunch on Sunday(3 times)There's a good selection of sweet and savory dishes to choose from. The staff is attentive and the ambience is unbeatable, especially if you do like historic settings. It's Also nice to have a walk around the plaza afterwards.
I came here with my inlaws and husband the day before thanksgiving. They didn't have our reservation even though I made one several days in advance, but they sat us anyway. The service was not as good as usual. The steak did not have that much flavor. The lack of flavor has kind of become the norm.
