With dozens of types of tequila and a rowdy-yet-classy atmosphere, Dos Rios is a good spot to share a pitcher of margaritas or enjoy a nice meal. Dont expect nacho cheese sauce were talking guacamole made at the table and a high-end menu. Try to get a spot on the patio for some quality people-watching.

Disappointing

Sorry Dos Rios, you have potential, great location, cool atmosphere, beautiful interior but your food and service are lousy. The menu is limited with over priced items. The only highlight of the meal is the table-side guacamole, which is consistently inconsistent depending on which server makes it. I'm willing to spend good money on Mexican cuisine, but not when it is below par.

The prices are a bit higher than your typical Mexican fare, but I have to say they are worth the extra couple bucks!

Previous reviewer got it spot on - food CAN be good, although it isn't always. The drinks, in my experience, can also be good, but generally are weak. Prices are way too high, however - even restaurants in Chicago (think Rick Bayless's Frontera Grill) are less expensive.
