I've only been to the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion once, but that visit was enough to create a permanent spot in my heart for the venue. This probably has a lot to do with who I went to see play (Sigur Ros) and the barrage of celebrity spottings (Jason Lee, Dave Navarro, the cast of "That 70s Show"). The Dorothy Chandler is part of the Music Center in downtown Los ANgeles. Its the home of the LA Opera and the LA Master Chorale. I have attened lots of concerts there and it is a very nice facility. There is lots of parking, tho it is $8. Patina runs their catering, so the food is superb but it will cost you a small fortune.
