Queens is slowly evolving, Woodside even more slowly. Donovan's Pub is not changing at all, and that's the way its fiercely loyal patrons like it. A welcoming, sometimes boisterou... more

The Scene Mom and Dad are in town, and they want to see where their pride and joy goes to knock back brewskies. It doesn't seem prudent to haul 'em to your usual watering hole, where everybody knows your name from chanting it as you slurped up tequila shots from the bartender's navel. The burger was as advertised. Compared to the rest of the pubs in the neighborhood, the pints were a bit cheaper. Disappointed that there is no Happy Hour (Not sure why they mention "happy-hour suds" in the description). Definately a nice stop-off before heading into Manhattan or out to Shea.

Pros

+ Staff, Food

Cons

- Crowd can be a hassle
