I have been a client for years. I have very long thick curly hair.When i get my hair done is AMAZING!. My hair is so soft and healthy. The price is reasonable considering how long my hair is. Plus it last about 2wks so its worth it. I would recommend this hair salon for Hispanics and african american women for sure.

I have to disagree with the negative review posted back in 2010. Dominican Beauty Hair Salon is great! $22 and up is way reasonable people. This is 2011! what nobody believes on inflation? prices can't be $15 or $20 bucks 4ever...have you been to an african american salon or gotten your hair braided? people drop $100-$300 easily. My friend got highlights at another salon for like $200..I got...

I was ripped off at this salon on 3-14-10. I was told one price before they started to do my hair, after they were done she charged me a different price and refuse to give me an explanation....very unprofessional..its the most over price Dominican salon I have ever been to. They should not be over priced since most of the stylist aren't licensed..it ashame....

Coming from the NYC I didn't expect the salon to fit my standard but it did.The hair stylist are friendly and the prices are reasonable.Depending on hair length a wash and set is $20 and up.No appointment and the women are bilingual too.Great for latinos and african americans.

Great place, no need for appointments - it is on a first come first serve basis. You may have to wait a while so plan for it, but that is the drawback when you don't need an appointment. Great for, Hispanics, Latin Americans and African Americans with special needs for curly and course hair. Friendly environment and good service.
