Before I lived here, just passing through, I stopped at the DogHouse because of the funky neon sign. But this place ended up being much more than a photo op. When I was stationed in ABQ me and my friends would go to the Dog House almost every weekend. The food is cheap and so good. The foot long hot dog with chili and cheese was my favorite. The chili was hot but so good. I loved that they grilled the hot dogs and the buns. I even took my parents there when they came out to visit. This is by far the best dog you could find in the Southwest.! I would say the best in the nation, but Lafayette Coney Island in Detroit has that title just by a slim margin.
