Hello Lisa my name is Chris the owner of DGH. I apologize for your vist on grand opening weekend. Unfortunley you booked your appointment when there was a unbeatable grooming offer of $25 for any size dog. We had over 7 groomers and ast. on staff that day with over 60 dogs booked both Sat and Sunday. If we asked to put your pet in our restroom which is completely free of any objects cleaners etc. besides a toilet, is because you had either mentioned your pet is not cage friendly, hates being in a crate, or you have an extra large dog. Our restroom is 15x10 with a tile floor. There's no way your pet could have been harmed in the mentioned space. As for shots, we operate and believe in Holistic approaches. Which means we don't agree in having your pet over vaccinated, and such. Over vaccinating is one of the leading causes in cancer today among pets. I can assure you don't get you technus shots yearly, shingles, and other vaccines your self. It's independently owned and operated so there for we can set our own standards on shot mandations. Once again I apogolize for your unpleasant experience, if you have any questions please feel free to contact myself at any one of our locations. I'm present in stores 6-7 days a week so I'm very eager to here your concerns and answer any questions on our practices.
I took in my dog for grooming. They had overbooked and wanted me to leave my dog in their bathroom! Not safe for the dog! The girl at the register was rude and obviously frustrated. They didn't even ask for shot records. I left with my pet. Do not leave your pet here!
