Between the red hills of North Louisiana and the blue waters of the Gulf of Mexico live the Cajuns. Among the marshes and bayous, the tall oaks and the whispering moss, the Cajuns carry on the traditions of the hearty Nova Scotian ancestors, les Acadiens. Their flight from persecution brought them to the lush South Louisiana soil over two decades ago. A Cajun likes fiddles and accordions in...

Both the menu and decor are designed to make you feel like you're on the bayou. You'll find Po' Boys and oysters on the menu and weathered wood on the floors, but don't be surprised if it's the attractive bartenders and waitresses that grab your attention. There's plenty of room, with several booths, lots of tables, and two bars. Their bottled and on-tap beer selection offers a lot of choices...

The Draw Both the menu and decor are designed to make you feel like you're on the...

This is an alright place. Its where mostly the rednecks go. The bar is decent (they have one inside & one outside) but its usually so crowded that you can't get to it. By the time you do, its too late and time to go home.

I really like this place. I've been coming here for years. The buidling seems like it has been here for 100 years. It has a great atmosphere. The waitstaff is always friendly and prompt. The food is very good. The prices are reasonable. They always have some kind of drink special. It is usually not crowded weeknights. On weekends, it gets packed. They have lots of TVs for watching...

I rode the light rail up from South End and stopped by Dixie's Tavern. The food was awesome and the staff was very friendly. It got crazy in there being a Saturday night, but the bar staff was fast at getting me my drink and my friends and I had a great time. We would reccomend this place to everyone looking to have a good time.
