Overcharged and potentially dangerous
They were to repair our wiring due to damage from Hurricane Wilma. They charged $6000, charged $500 to install one recessed light in a house with no ceilings, and failed to attach 2 wires to the load center. I am not an electrician and apparently no one they sent had a license. They said they would charge us more to fix their lights installed at the wrong depth, meaning they had to be installed again. They cut wires. all this work cost us excess living expenses, apartment and storage costing at least $2000 a month. Each electrician did not want to follow their shady work and it cost us at lest two months of living expenses. Terry Dinnen's answer "we were chargin you by the hour and it is Steve Vance of Vance Builders fault for not supervising the work. Two questionable companies blaming each other and costing me thousands. What does Steve and Robin Vance of Vance Builders care-the more the subs charge the more they get paid.
