The doctor is OK however, the office is just to much trouble to deal with. I have had three visits with Dimitri - Prouet Eye Care on Old Metarie Road. All three times I had to wait 45 minutes to an hour PAST my appointment time to see the doctor. I paid with cash the first visit and had to wait 20 more minutes while the blonde lady receptionist walked to the bank for $5 change! Lesson learned...

I've been other places that left me unattended for quite awhile, but not here. I wish it had been easier to locate. I didn't have to wait at all after I arrived for my appointment. They were running right on time, which is a really big deal for me. Their staff was friendly enough, but they didn't go out of their way to help me.

I have not complaints about the Dr. However, the front desk personnel were sometimes a little less friendly.
My real complaint is that regardless of what I'm there for; I always receive a bill in the mail, despite what my insurance covers. I even made a point to mention that i wanted the contacts that were fully cover by my plan and still got a nominal bill.
