The Detroit Opera House is a magnificient place to see live shows. Not only is it breath inside and out, but the staff are among the nicest working in any live theatre. They are a very knowledgable and courteous staff who truly strive to make your experience enjoyable.

The Detroit Opera House is a great place to see everything from Opera to Country concerts! Every time I have gone there, I've noticed the employees to be friendly and courteous, they even know a lot of history about the theatre itself--make sure to ask someone there if you are curious. The decor in this theater is very impressive. I've seen several operas performed here and each one was wonderful. Seats can be pricey but if you don't mind sitting towards the back, they can be a good deal. I've always gotten the cheaper seats and I've always been able to see just fine. They also perform a variety of classic operas as well as modern ones.
