Rock Bottom Restaurants steamrolled Denver with its train-inspired microbrewery. But there's much more here than beer, including a snazzy dining room and a roster of well-executed dishes.
In Short Housed in the old Union Pacific building in LoDo, the Chop House's upbeat atmosphere gives the original railroad decor a modern, sophisticated feel. Large booths offer plenty of people-watching perches along with views of the kitchen and the brew tanks behind the gigantic bar area. Entrees include porterhouse steaks, cedar-grilled plank salmon, veal chops, tuna, pork chops or the ...

A LoDo mainstay since it opened alongside Coors Field in 1995, this is one of the Mile High City's best places for carnivores. Set in the steeped brick-and-wood atmosphere of a restored early-19th-century train depot, the ChopHouse does classic meat and potatoes (not to mention microbrews) as well as anybody in town. Few places in Denver’s red-hot restaurant scene cook like the Chophouse. This restored train depot---one of the swankiest retro-rooms in town---stays filled with loyal customers who can’t get enough meat, potatoes and beer. Thick cuts of beef are the stars of the menu, from top-quality Kansas City strips to filets, rib eyes and more. There are also pork chops and wood-grilled slabs of fish. All ...

Service was fair, if you consider there were around 30 people and only two servers, it was better than fair. This is definitely a place I will return to for a quiet night out away from the kids.
My boyfriend and I visited the chophouse after the bronco game on sunday. I've always heard great things about the chop house so I was excited to finally try it. From the begining i could tell that the night was going to be a disaster. Our server was not very friendly and couldn't even take the time to introduce himself. I ordered a cup of coffee and when I got it was cold. After he dropped off our ...

I first visited The Chop House because a good friend of mine is a waiter there and I fell in love with this establishment upon being seated. The atmosphere & the service are phenomenal (not just because I have a friend that works there, I've been there without him). I have tried several dishes ranging from grilled Mahi Mahi with a garlic orange sauce to the gorganzola filet with white cheddar mashed ...
