I have good and bad experiences here. And, it wouldn't seem so bad if Portland Nursery weren't so much better as far as service and layout. Also, gotta give a shout-out to Al's Garden Center who...

Meh. I still like Fred Meyer's better for the basics: organic soil, soaking hoses, & tomato cages. I wasn't terribly impressed by the customer service (only one lady said hi out of the 5 I saw). But they did have a pot that I've been looking for, so I guess if you need a specialty item, sure.

All the seven dees are great but this one is close by, so I go there the most. Huge selection (indoor and outdoor) friendly staff!

I live just down the street from here, so I go in all the time... this place is great... it's huge, they're very friendly and helpful and have a great selection of anything for yard or garden!
