I didn't think there were any good italian restaurants left in the bronx? Located near St Barnabas hospital and there was a slight wait for the lunch seating. I ordered the Veal and it was terrific, prices very good also.

GREAT FOOD with old school Italian atmosphere. Christine, the sassy bar tender, made the experience worth the trip! Unfortunately, the "Arthur ave" neighborhood has shrunk to about 1 or 2 blocks.

by far one of the best arthur avenue experiences I have had thus far...the food was exceptional, the ambience like no other..and service impeccable..Prior to the new ownership, this was one of my favorite restaurants in NYC known as amici's, now de'Medici has surpassed that status to MY FAVORITE RESTAURANT period..Words can do no justice, trust that you will not be disappointed and you will be thinking about your next visit before you leave...

+ great for a family dinner, romantic dinner and even a large group.... very versatile
