Delmonico's Steakhouse

Though a "little pricey", the "top-notch" steaks are "worth it" say fans of this upscale meatery in the Hilton in Wynnefield, where the "friendly" staff provides "impeccable" service; a few find the "view of the hotel lobby" a letdown, but the "warm, welcoming" atmosphere inside compensates.

Delmonico's used to be excellent. Unfortunately they changed their steaks to a much thinner cut (except maybe for the filet) But we like the NY strip. They also eliminated a lot from their "Wedge Salad" and now it is lettuce with cheese crumbles...... very boring. Their shrimp cocktail used to be jumbo shrimp (which were the best) now they are medium to large but not nearly as good. The service...

We enjoyed our meals and they substituted something for my grandson but I would not recommend the salmon, mine was supposed to be rare and it was overdone and not much flavor. Guess I should have ordered the miso flavor...………….
