The shrimp dejonghe was delicious with a recipe straight out of a 1960's supper club. They grow their own tomatoes, peppers, and herbs along the small outdoor patio and you can tell they make their own sugo.

I hadn't visited downtown Rockford in years, but was committed to finding a local place for lunch after my mom and I visited the fabulous orchid show at Nicholas Conservatory. The food was actually pretty good; however, the portion size was too small. The service is strange in that you go to the counter even if you are dining in. They don't provide you with a tray or anything to carry your food.
