Unfortunately it is closed. Not surprising because like in many smallish southern towns next to nothing is open on the weekend.
The food is excellent and the service was prompt. A little pricey but I would definitely recommend a visit.
In Newberry for overnight, just learned that Delamater's closed suddenly, without prior notice, a few weeks ago. Sorry. It was good.
The restaurant is located in a beautiful historic small city. The restaurant was surprisingly upscale. The special that day was chilli and it was wonderful, My wife had the She Crab Soup. The staff and atmosphere were laid back and friendly.
Four of us (adults) ate lunch at Delamater's and the service could not have been better. The waitress was knowledgeable and attentive. Sitting across from the once-active bank vault added to the fun and the food was very good. When the waitress delivered my salad, which was beautifully presented, she said, "That's what I'm having for lunch today!" The atmosphere...
