Deetjens began offering hospitality in Big Sur to adventurous travelers in the 1930's. The Inn provides rustic, old-fashioned comfort, simple tranquility, and fine dining in our award-winning restaurant. Chef Domingo Santamaria combines the subtlety of French cuisine with a dash of the spices found in traditional Mexican cooking. There's a little something indescribable about a stay at Deetjens.
