My boyfriend and I are native Las Vegans. We recently went to the Diner next to the Liquor Store and had REAL diner food with all the love. The owner took our order, made and served the meal on our clean table that was truly diner food at a reasonable price.

Sometimes we have to realize that chic, expensive pretentious restaurants are just that. It's ok to have a real meal, at a real place with real people-no makeup or fancy clothes and a lot of elderly couples out for their Sat. night date. It was great.

Bad Dive Bar Masquerading As A Liquor Store

This business is actually a filthy, poorly lit, classic version of a dive bar. The floors and tables are dirty. The bar is against one side of the building and there are a few old beaten up tables and booths that can only be described as grungy. Behind the bar there is a VERY limited selection of overpriced liquors which are available for sale to go.
Every Friday they serve ""free"" hot dogs for their idea of a ""happy hour."" The hot dog meat is something that is out of a bad culinary nightmare. The chili topping is worse than anything out of a can, the raw onions are poorly sliced and...
