Jose Colon is a liar! Do not hire him ever unless you have money you want to throw away. We hired him to do our kitchen. Not only did he do a sloppy job in some aspects but he ended up making us spend more money on different parts of the house, unnecessarily. We hired him back in July 2011, til today he has not completed the job. We call him every week asking him when he will come to finish the job. He doesn't respond, nor does he show up when he says he will. Instead he sends his son and others who barely speak english and they still don't complete the job! He asks for money even...

the owner of the company, Jose, was friendly and incredibly responsive. He was very quick to provide the service and to adapt to my tenants' schedule maintaining a great degree of flexibility. Also, I had spoken to Jose about an unrelated matter and he quickly helped resolve that as well. I look forward to relying on De La Rosa Construction for further work on my property.

My experience with Mr Jose Colon of De La Rosa Construction was terrible. I originally asked him and 2 others for quotes to remodel my bathroom. He came back with the lowest quote. However, I decided to go with another contractor. But I asked him if he would like to repair my sidewalk instead. We agreed on a price of $1,800. To my surprised, he asked for money upfront. I refused. He came with 3 school kids and worked for 2 days. He also used sub-standard materials and he even ran out of those too. I decided to give him $1,500, hoping it would help him do a better job. I haven’t...

Pros - They showed up when they said they would, which is usually a problem with contractors. The owner is with the crew when they work, so the job is watched over. Everyone was respectful of my home and my family. The floors were covered with paper and dropcloths, and cleanup was done daily.

My project was finished with in the proper amount of time , the contractor was willing & able to work with my schedule without pressuring me. He is very professional & does good work. I plan on using him in the very near future for 2 other projects. I am grateful also I found this site that made it possible for me to interview several company's for my job. Thank you John K
