Wife and went knowing nothing about the restaurant other than the Open Table reviews. We loved it. Fresh bread, amazing Scicilian salad, risotto, and veal. Owner Carlos came and talked to us and recommended the perfect bottle of wine. Highly recommended.

The shrimp and scallops were chewy (over-cooked) and my partner's chicken Milanese was soggy and covered in cheese. Foccoccia bread was dry and flavorless. I had the house salad and there was nothing wrong with it, but also nothing really right about it. Honestly the worst dining experience I've had in a long time, especially considering the price point.

We really love this quiet neighborhood spot. New additions to the menu. Attentive service. Always a good meal. This will become a favorite for us!

Nice atmosphere, great service, good food!! The live music was nice - soothing, but not intrusive.

Ribeye steak had lots of fat. It would be nice if they also offered filet mignon as a food choice.

I came here with a couple of friends before a formal event and d'Carlo exceeded my expectations. The service was second to none, the atmosphere was comfortable but classy enough that we didn't feel out of place dressed up, and the pricing was very reasonable. Both of the friends I came with asked the waitress for her business card so that they'd remember the restaurant's location and come back....

You may not expect to find such superb Italian food secreted away, but descend beneath the Chase Building to this nearly-hidden spot, and you'll be richly rewarded by authentic Sicilian cuisine. Chef Daniele Puleo, a native of Palermo, brings the recipes and flavors of his childhood to the tables of this successful Dallas restaurant. Try simple but delicious pennette alla trapanese (penne pasta...

Patrons entering from the underground self-park emerge from the connecting corridor into a room resembling a royal wine cellar. A low ceiling, stonework, mahogany paneling and candlelit archways create an aura of intimacy and seduction in harmony with owner Daniele Puleo's Sicilian roots.Italy is blessed with a rich variety of regional cuisines, but the pinnacle of Italian cooking will always be dishes from his southern climes, where an abundance of fresh ingredients, olive oil and pungent cheeses create healthy and satisfying meals. Diners seeking authenticity will delight in the simple...
