Dartt Automotive Service began when William "Chuck" Dartt opened Chuck's Standard Service at the intersection of Franklin Street and St. Joseph Avenue in 1960. When "Chuck" retired in 1986 he passed on his business experience, knowledge, and his love for helping others to his son, Dale. Dale and Ladonna opened Dartt Automotive Service, Inc. in April 1986. I came to Dartt from the Tri-State Auto Mission. After tears & a bit of a bad attitude on my part, they found the issue with my car & got me back on the road. Incredible patience, those fellas of Dartt!
