Yes there is Mecca, but in the world of Italian food I bring my rug out and bow to Butler Square daily. Without reservation, this is the best restaurant in town. The service is prompt, friendly and answered all of my questions. The food was AMAZING. I recommend the lobster gnocchi for a meal and the pizza/flatbread appetizer. The ambience is classic comfortable. The piano music on the weekend provides an added romantic/entertaining ambience.

Recently dined here on a weekday. Did not need the reservation. Bar area very comforatable, with nice lounge chairs and a grand piano. Live music on weekends. Menu very diverse and very Italian. The Artic Char was fantastic. Menu changes regularily according to our waiter who did a very nice job. Interesting layout within these fancy digs. Definately a special occasion place.
