I took a Toshiba laptop to Richard's back in 2005 and got great service for a good price. So, when my Dell got a nasty virus last month, I took it to them. They quoted me less than anyone else and with a 48 hour turn around, so I dropped it off to them. I wish I had read these reviews first. They never called us back when they said they would, and sounded really put out to talk to us. We got the computer back in only 3 days, but I'm convinced that's only because we kept calling them and calling them to make sure they were sticking to their quoted price & time.

I dropped my laptop to fix a power issue. Was quoted $60.00 to analyze the problem and I agreed. After several days I called to check status and was told I need a new power plug and that it's $28.00 and the $60 labor fee. I agreed to the repair and was told parts had to be ordered. After 2 weeks I checked and was told it was being tested and someone would call me. No call so a few days later I called and was told it was ready. When I arrived to pick it up they had replaced the mother board for $289 and the labor was $120. When I stated I would never approve over $400 to fix a 5 year...
