This is a nice little library. The staff are friendly and helpful. Its a bit small and disorganized and they charge for new DVD rentals.

Located adjacent to some city buildings, this is a one stop government center. The design of building is interesting architecturally, and more than enough parking in the area. They have a huge collection of books surprisingly, but are rarely busy. Upstairs they have an excellent selection of current movies and media, compared to most places. For a while we used the library as our free video...

The Wescott library is the best in this county and i love the weekend hours during the summer.The kids section is very good and there are lots of books even for my 5 month old kid.The staffs are very friendly and they take every effort to keep the library pretty organized.This is my regular hangout place during the winter.

All of the Dakota County Libraries offer various children's activities ranging from baby story time to activities for older children. They have music and reading programs throughout the year also. All library events are free, which is wonderful. You can even check out a Passport to Play which will admit 6 people into the Children's Museum for free.
