Daiei (American style) is a small place and it's not the best place to get Asian foods especially in Hawaii. However, it is very convenient because they are open late. The prices are decent. They have some fresh foods like breads, sushi, and other hot foods. I recommend Daiei especially if it's late at night and you're hungry.

I like this store because it is conveniently located by my house. It is about 4 blocks away, within walking distance. This store is similar to Walmart except that it sells a lot of Asian foods and it has an Asian deli that sells bentos and other types of fresh Asian foods. The service is fast and the prices are competitive.
