DP Cheesesteaks is always rated the best cheesesteak in Utah. It's good, but if you have the time you need to visit The Italian Place. Both are very good. DP Cheesesteaks has the better location of the two, though.

If you're absolutely sure you won't get on a plane and fly to Philadelphia, then DP Cheesesteaks is the place for you. Its a heck of a lot closer, a heck of a lot cleaner, and, without a doubt, probably just as good. Found on Broadway in downtown Salt Lake City, DP Cheesesteaks already has something great going for it: location. It shows, too. The lunch time crowd is business dressed, collared...

Cheese Whiz! The cheesesteaks are always fresh and delicious, and mine is always with cheese whiz. Super quick and friendly staff makes this location one of my favorite lunch spots in the city.

Great cheesesteaks sandwiches at reasonable prices. The cheesesteak sandwiches compare favorably with East Coast Subs' version of the cheesesteak sandwich. Have not tried any other sandwiches there

Too much pepper. I ordered the traditional Philly cheesesteak and there was way too much pepper in it. Not sure if they're supposed to come like that or not. Other people I was with ordered different sandwiches and were raving about them. I'll probably give this place a second chance sooner or later.
