This downtown dive bar bears the signature signs of every other Minneapolis dive bar: A couple of small windows decorate the front, a telltale sign that the single source of light inside emanates from the neon beer signs. Perhaps because the owners and staff are so friendly, this neighborhood pub attracts the best crowd around. Service is speedy, and the food is surprising. It may not look like much from the outside, but inside, gourmet fare is being served. It is a Warehouse District gem.

The food at Cuzzy's defies normal tavern conventions. These are some of the best burgers I've had ANYWHERE. The chicken is equally hearty, and the specials are fancier than you'd expect. I recommend the Italian chicken sandwich or burger -- they come topped with red sauce and pepperoni. You can even get tater tots, though the fries are darn good.
