Why would you close a salon and not inform your clients? Why is if necessary to charge people $400+ for a hairstyle that can easily be done by many of the African hairbraiding salons for way less money? I went in for the big cut. The charged me a $50 deposit beforehand, of course, and hacked off my hair, slapped on some curly pudding and buttercream something and called it $300 (inlcuding tip). This was the biggest waste of money. Don't buy into the hype. My experience at Miss Jessie's salon was that of mixed feelings. It was a gift from my sister who stated she wanted to go to the salon to get her hair done and she paid the deposit ($75) for me to go with her.
