Great Gourmet Snacks

Review Rating
Cube has some amazingly creative snacks plus great meals in an informal and creative space. There is a wine/cheese bar, sidewalk dining and a few tables inside. It's very edgy and the food is phenomenal, similar to a Roman enoteca. There is a lot of gourmet food (cheese, condiments, honey, pasta, charcuterie, candy, etc.) as well as pizzas, pasta and salads. Hint: street parking on LaBrea is impossible between 4-7 weekdays because of traffic, so try to get to Cube for lunch, after 7 or try to valet it.

Remember when hoity toity Cube used to be unassuming Divine Pasta Company, where you could -- for a very reasonable sum -- buy lobster or wild mushroom ravioli by the pound and small plastic containers of sauce to go with it? Aaaah, the good old days. In the spring of 2006, Divine Pasta transformed itself into decidedly more uspcale venue with deep red walls and a lovely, metal-topped cheese... more

The service is great, the atmosphere is great, the food is excellent, especially the sweet corn stuffed pasta with brown butter sauce. Yum, it is triangle shaped pasta stuffed with sweet corn sprinkled with perfectly crisped bacon pieces and topped with a delicious brown butter sauce, it melts in your mouth. I will be going back for sure.

Discovered this place today when looking for a lunch spot in Hollywood for a business lunch. Very cute little Italian cafe with a small number of tables inside and nice terrace outside (on La Brea). Inside has a wine section, a giant cheese selection, and lots of italian charm. The food was delicious. We had salads to start the heirloom tomatoes were super yummy and the wild arugula very... more

My Secret LA Spot

Cube is elegant but fun with a lot of thoughtful attention to the details.

I had the Rabbit Stuffed Ravioli. Never tried Rabbit before and was a little hesitant but both the manager Jason and my waitress Alice assured me that if I'm gonna try rabbit, this is place to start. They were right, it was rich and delicious, as was the 4 cheese macaroni. I will be back to try more on the menu.
