This place pretty much exists for the hotel that is attached to it. It consist of uninteresting boutiques, two (non-movie) theaters and a big food court. It does not even flow well. If I had kiddos who were into trains I might take them to the train themed restaurant, but since I haven't tasted the food I cannot recommend it....
This place is a kid's paradise... well, at least my kids thought so. Between Legoland, the aquarium, ice skating rink, chocolate shop, popcorn shop, toy store, Crayola store, Crayola cafe, and train-themed diner, well, life doesn't get much better.
We are St. Louisans and traveled to KC via Amtrak. What a great weekend excursion for the kids!
