We have been going here for years and it never disappoints. Fast, fresh Greek food that will make your mouth water. I suggest you try the Gyro Plate and the Vegetarian Salad with Feta and Fries on top. The fries have a wonderful hint of lemon and it is cooked to golden perfection!

Been here a few times now for the gyro. It is fantastic, I get it with the fries with the feta cheese crumbles and olive oil. Service is very good, servers have a clear understanding of each item. It is a great spot for lunch or dinner and oftentimes is pretty packed. Plenty of metered parking available in the area....

A long-time mainstay in south Evanston. Nothing fancy for sure but reliably good, simply-prepared food. Sandwich/salad place for the lunch crowd. Big helpings are typical.

Cross-Rhodes features inexpensive Greek and American food and most selections are under ten dollars. It's open for lunch and dinner and it offers a wine selection as well. Spanakopita and gyros are the most popular items but for those who prefer more American fare, burgers and fries are available. Be sure to bring cash, Cross-Rhodes doesn't accept credit cards.
