I went here a few months ago, as they were one of the stops on the Denver Poker Tour and I wanted to play cards that night. What can I say? The Cricket may be a dive, but it is my favorite dive in Denver. On any given night there is a band up there, playing primarily for beer and bragging rights, they have the oh-so-trendy PBR on tap. This place is a great joint to stumble out of after a night of Denver talent.

This club is one of the central places in the Denver music scene. Some of the best acts play here throughout the week. The most recent time I was there was 2-25-06 and the acts included Fallout Orphan and all capitals, two of the best local bands.
