I used to visit this place all of the time, and while I thought that their prices for small dogs were high, they had a great selection of fish, many of them unique. They also had a good selection of small lizards, frogs, and snakes.

The store did not have excellent ventilation, but I have worked at two pet stores and I didn't think it smelled any worse than the Mom-and-Pop stores.

In the Brainerd area, its hard to compare to the selection of the Creature connection. While some of my predecessors feel the store is overpriced, I will argue that you can't bargain shop when making an addition to your family. Willingness to pay retail, which is competitive if not cheaper than Minneapolis stores, demonstrates a desire to take care of the animal. Too many people buy dogs...

You can find a variety of pets here from fish to puppies, I personaly dont care for how they take care of the puppies and there is no ventilation in this place so the smell can become overwhelming. The prices are very high also but I think that is about the same for any pet store. I would just say becareful when shopping here.

The Creature Connection is located in the Westgate mall. This is nice if you have some shopping to do anyway, but if not you can park near the middle front entrance, and they are one of the first stores on the right. Small and stinky

This place sells dogs for a very high price and you will notice there is no ventilation in this place. they have all kinds of pets here from hampsters to snakes. But I was not very impressed by the way the shop was set up the Puppies seemed way to hot and they had a hard time reaching their water. I did not purchase a pet from here because I was concerned about the health of the animal.
