This was an excellent restaruant. Just when everyone in town loves a great place they close their doors and pack up and leaeve town. Copperas Cove is very bad about not trying to keep businesses like excellent eating establishments around. It's like they run them out. One knows wheat happened to the Crawdaddy's Cajun Grill. Crawdaddy's has been awesome every time I have eaten there. The staff has been extremely polite and always has filled our drinks while our drinks have been half way. We are taking a co-worker tomorrow for her going away lunch so she can taste the food before she leaves to Germany. I give this place a huge Kuddos for the portions, because I always take food home. Husband and I went to Crawdaddy's when it first opened..(we drove by the other day, looks closed) anyway... He ordered a burger medium, was a piece of charcoal at best.... I had the catfish, wow was the worst ever, so fishy I couldnt eat it. The best part!!! The over priced oysters... I have never felt so ripped off .The worst dinning experance I have ever had.The smalles't portions I have ever seen & I orderded the big plate. When I saw my so called Big Daddy plate comming I asked about the portions" the waitress said it was weighted out.
