The Cranbury Museum is an old house that was restored and made into a museum. There is always a special exhibit that rotate after about three months. The museum is open from 1 to 4 PM on Sundays. The Cranbury Museum is a quaint, historic house, on a quiet side street set with period furniture bric-a-brac, china and assorted other historic pieces, mostly from the town or the general vicinity. But the occasional exhibits can be any historic event or selected collection. A great learning experience. The Christmas Tea is an annual event that is always enjoying.

Cranberry is a very sleepy little town this is one of the only things to do there other than eat
its proximity to the Princeton area makes it worth the trip over ,but if you live more than a half an hour away I would skip it. cranberry missed again another opportunity by having this museum only open on Sunday...

This charming house is tucked into a little side street in Cranbury, NJ. The original part of the house was built in 1834 and boasts a huge walk-in fireplace and wide-plank, pine floors. Furnishings and decorations are of the appropriate period. Interestingly, each part of the house is preserved and decorated in the fashion of the time it was built....

This historic house dates back to 1834. It underwent several additions, and volunteers in the early 1970s developed the site into the current museum. The collection includes historic local quilts, early artificacts from the township and its residents and rotating special exhibits. The Cranbury Historical and Preservation Society runs the facility.
