Coupa Cafe

Venezuelan Chocolate and Coffee!

Review Rating
Coupa Cafe is where I go for caffeination. It has great coffee and chocolates from Venezuela. Also, it has a great breakfast menu including crepes, arepas and most standard fare. There is limited street parking on Cannon, but you can park in the BH city structure next store for two hours. The only thing odd is that they tend to play Taps/Pray for the Dead a lot despite the fact that the decor is really festive, bright and tropical.

Until Coupa Café opened a few months ago, almost any homesick Venezuelan would have groused about the dearth of arepas in L.A. Being an avid sushi goer, I tend to only stick with food I know about. I also tend to dine in the valley not posh Beverly Hills so when a friend mentioned Coupa Cafe I reluctantly allowed myself to be dragged along. When coming into the resturant you are greeted by all the staff and quickly seated. Once you sit down you are able to take in the beauty of the restuarant, the amazing architecture,... more

As a jaded LA local and self described food-snob, I figured the first time I went to Coupa cafe to find meals for 6.50$ in Beverly Hills, I figured this would be your typical cafe food- and boy was I wrong. Coupa Cafe's food is far better than dare I say, most of the cuisine the 90210!

I have even taken a friend from Venezuela, along with his family, and they were amazed at how authentic the... more
