The food here is well-made. Everything from the prime rib sandwich to the entrees are tasty and incredible. We also love going here for the live music on Friday nights and just to get a drink. The pub is warm and inviting - perfect for snuggling in on a cold night. They have a great selection of British and Irish beers and whiskey. I would highly recommend it.

County Clare is a lovely place for dinner with great decor. The stained glass is beautiful. The restaurant is small but not cramped. The food is well prepared with attractive presentation. My husband enjoyed the salmon and I the Irish Mist chicken. The dumpling appetizer is wonderful. Servings were generous so we didn't have dessert. County Clare is a nice place to begin an evening out...

I have gone to the County Clare 3 times and never have I felt more at home then in this restaurant. Great comfort food, potato of the day, and reubens and other cornbeef concoctions awaiting your perusal. If you want to go somewhere for a good pint of Guinness and some good home cooking go here. And try the chicken shannon as an appetizers you won't be disappointed.
